SCHOOL INTEGRATES TECHNOLOGY
The new McDonough Middle School incorporates the latest technology, including energy-efficient devices and equipment, interactive projectors, digital media distribution, and digital signage monitors. The building is robustly secured by an advanced access control system.
The school features two outdoor learning courtyards. Each courtyard contains natural plant material, raised planting areas, teaching tables, benches, and a stepped seating area with shading sail structures for outdoor instruction. All general instruction classrooms include a pair of rooms separated by a flexible operable wall. McDonough Middle and McDonough High share athletic facilities, which are located between the two schools.
